Holy Moly I am so glad to be practically finished with this book! When I first started I was thinking this was going to fast easy project now a month and a half later I am almost completely finished :) I have the front and back covers to do then I will be finished, maybe :)
I have to tell you there is no way I can go through and explain how I did this project, but I can give the website where I got most of my FREE patterns for the book, and the supply list.
1: Get your materials I used felt in mine basically because it's cheaper and because I am not an artist, the majority of quiet books are made out of pellon. I watched the Joann's ad and got my felt 4/$1 so I stocked up got several different colors that I knew I would use. You will also want lots of buttons, snaps, clips, zippers, yarn, googly eyes, little clothes pins, string, beads, etc. I based my book out of flannel and canvas, I used coupons on these because of the prices, yikes! I got them at Joann's as well. Can I just say that I love Joann's way better than Roberts :)
2: I spent many a hour online searching for quiet book templates and patterns, the best site I can give you is one that has a ton of other blogs listed on it with a link to view the finished quiet book as well as some basic how to with the pattern. A big shout out to http://mrmagnificentandcompany.blogspot.com/p/quiet-book.html thank you so much for your blog and for the inspirations.
3: Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have when putting your books together, I will be more than willing to help.
